Leo only now noticing the beedrill raises an eye eye brow.

"Interesting...." he says following marcus' lead.

After walking the many twists and turns of the maze like path you come upon a clearing. In this clearing you see Three Huge Silver Maple trees surrounding a fourth Colossal Golden Maple tree. As soon as you enter the clearing you see that the trees have been recently damaged by what look like claw marks, you also see three other smaller groups of Beedrill arriving with what looks like to be materials to repair the trees.

after a few minutes i stop stammering and am able to walk on my own but my eyes won't hold still and i keep looking around at the beedrill, but as soon as i see the trees, and the beedrill trying to fix it i forget all about my fear saying"what happened here?"

My own fear prevents me from replying, but I am also in awe at the sight of what I'm assuming is a massive hive. The look on weedle's face is one of contentedness, warmth, as if returning home after a long day.

Leo kept an observant eye and remained silent as he continued to look around

"I wonder if there is anything we can do to help them..." he asked half to himself and half to the others.

As everyone knows all Pokémon understand human speech. At hearing Leo's words the Beedrill start what seems to be an unusual buzzing dance, you all suddenly feel a little more optimistic and a little less intimidated by the Hive (this includes the Individual Beedrill). The Beedrill escort suddenly leads you closer to the Colossal Golden Maple, as you get closer to the tree in the center you see that there are slight protrusions spiraling up the tree like a set of stairs. About a eighth of the way up the 400 foot tree you notice a slightly darker patch of what looks to be bark, and you also see about 40 Weedles playing and roaming around the bottom of the step-like Protrusions, as you get even closer you also notice that some branches are festooned with Kakuna.

I whistle at the sight. Then, I grin like my usual stupid self and say out loud "So I guess you don't want to eat us then?" This prompts my Weedle to use string shot over my mouth to shut me up.

laughing i start to relax about the beedrill and observe the area slightly concerned with the drop to the forest floor, after all i lived on the plains and have never been in something higher than a small hill

Leo seemed in heavy thought fora moment....

"We shouldn't start any trouble here....other wise they'll take us 'down'" he said hoping the absolutely awful pun would take tenera's mind off of the long drop.

a low seemingl annoyed "pid....gey...." was heard from Leo's shoulder.....Harmony gave him a sharp peck on the side of the head...


"OW!....Okay Okano more bad puns...." he said rubbing his head

As you approach the bottom of the stair-like protrusions you see they are about 6 feet wide much wider than they looked from a distance, the Weedle seem to melt away into the surrounding cover and the Beedrill reorganize the formation and lead you up the stair-like protrusions.

laughing and forgetting about the drop i ask the beedrill passing "what happened here?"

As you all climb you see to the West the sun setting, you continue to climb up as you look at the blood red sunset. As you reach the Western most part of the tree, you see what you thought was discolored bark to be an eight foot round doorway facing directly West, the Beedrill Escort pauses.

Since I couldn't talk, I started thinking about what pokemon would be crazy enough to attack a Beedrill hive, let alone this massive thing. I started running over all the knowledge I had of pokemon and their evironments and eating habits.

looking over at marcus wondering why he isn't talking as much as he used to, and seeing the string shot over marcus's mouth i help pull it off with a small chuckle at weedle

I take a deep breath for effect, "Thanks for that. Any idea what might have attacked beedrill?"

by the looks of those gouges i would say a sneezle or something else with sharp claws

The sun has set. The Beedrill Escort leads you into the depths of the colossal tree, after walking for a little while you notice a green-gold light as you go deeper into the tree, also you notice a sweet honey aroma. Suddenly you find your selves on a balcony looking upon a vast store of honey comb stretching into the heights of the tree. In the center you see three large (~4' 6" Tall) Beedrill surrounding an even larger (9' tall) Green and Gold colored Beedrill, all of them sitting on throne like edifices of honey comb. To your right you see a walkway leading towards what you now realize is the Council of Queens, Weedle leads the way to the council.

Now, being the badass fearless almost godlike person that I am, Naturally I wasn't worried in the least about going to the Council. I was, however, petrified of the massive stinger's, each one larger than me.

The Beedrill escort stops every one except Weedle at a marking on the floor about 32 feet from the Queens Council. Weedle stops 8 feet from the Queens Council and waits respectfully. The High Queen after some trepidation starts Speaking in a low but clear buzzing human language, as though acknowledging the fact that Weedle had brought humans into her presence: "I zzee you have brought zzome Humanzzz into the Hive Vizzinity. May I azzk Why?"
Weedle: "We-weedle-weed-weee-weedle-dle. Weedle." (while speaking Weedle moved in a curious dance pattern.)
Queen: "You thought they might be able to help the hive with the problem?"
Weedle: "WEEDLE!!!"
Queen: "Well...Tonight izzz the night of the Quarter Moon...We zzal zzee how they do. Before that how about some food?"
As though a bell had rung Many Weedle and Beedrill Appear, some Beedrill carrying Giant leaves Filled with many sweet Fruits, Crystallized Honey preserved Nuts and fruits, and what looked to be meat preserved in honey then dried in the sun. then Four Beedrill Enter with what looks like a giant wax and wood vessel filled with a fragrant green-gold liquid, as you watch this you see three Weedle approach you With smaller similar wax and wood vessels that look to be cups of a fashion. When you touch then you notice that the wax does not feel like wax it feels much harder than wax, the wood also feels different.
Without you noticing the High Queen has appeared beside you and says: "Pleazzz try a little bit of everything."

I sat at the table, looking the food over. On one hand, I was starved, and I could feel Squirtles rumbling stomach through his shell. On the other hand, I was to scared to eat.

seeing marcus's hesitation twords the food i sit next to him and thank our hosts then say to marcus "relax marcus, they woulden't feed us if they were going to hurt us, and if they were, why wait this long? so it's safe to assume they won't" i pat him on the back and start makeing a plate for breeze and blaze before i make one for myself

I get a plate ready to eat, making one for Squirtle as well. I look over at Weedle, unsure if he's eating with us.
