As you exit Viridian City after walking for about an hour and get on Route 2 you see the Viridian Forest about a 30 minute walk away.

Weedle leads the way through the verdant dark green Forest paths all around you, you see many different Pokémon including Pikachu with little Pichu following, you see another Ekans sunning itself in one of the clearings and you see some Spearow flying overhead.

I was amazed at all the different types of pokemon. There was never this many around pallet, save for the reserve.

i smiled, this forest reminding me of the plains that i grew up on, seeing this many Pokemon brought living together in harmony peace to my soul.

Leo cracked his neck and set his mind to the next task.

"Ok harmony time to get down to business...Fly up and take a look around and see if you can spot any grass type pokemon. This is recon only Locate the target but do not engage return to me immediately" he said with cold, tactical precision.

"Pidgey! (Understood!)" she chirped using a wing to give a salute and then flying from his shoulder with purpose.

"AND BE CAREFUL!!" he yelled after her as she disappeared his tone nearly mimicking a protective mother.

Leo didn't even bother looking at marcus when he responded

"Harmony and I work together in a way they WE feel comfortable with. So don't even begin to presume the make assumptions about how she and I go about our tasks." he said it it was the first time either of them had heard any real anger in his voice.

"Lets not forget who brings their pokemon in to petty squabbles about pride" he added, returning to the cold emotionless tone he normally used.

walking up i notice the odd clump of grass, something in my brain telling me i've seen something like that before, i sigh trying to remember

As you look at the unusual grass clumps they start wiggling and out pop a bunch of Oddish 13 of them in all. They start forming a circle around a single larger Oddish. Whose color seems different more green than blue. As you look at the Oddish Clan, Leo's PokéIDAO Activates and says: Oddish: Weed Pokémon, Oddish are usually active at Night but occasionally if disturbed during the day will usually use Stun Spore or Poison Powder on those who disturbed them, also Oddish tend to live in Clans in some areas such as the Forest.

oddish huh? we don't get to many of those out on the plains. though it shouldn't be too hard with all 5 of us
