Here's the deal when creating characters: You may have Kekkei Genkai , or bloodline limits.This must be explained in detail for the different levels of jutsus, although the character may not have acess to them all at the begining, and specially training may be needed for the rest, your milage may vary.
You may be born in any of the villages, which are leaf, sound, sand, water, fire, mist, and any others i might have forgotten.
(EDIT BY REAVER: We will now be going on some what of an honor system. It's simple if you're character is a genin there will be a limit to how much chakra they have and how powerful they are. NO EFFIN GOD MODDING!
If you can find a plausible way to avoid an attack then that is fine but there are no "main characters" or "Plot armor". Take your hits if you can't avoid them and no whining about a loss in a fight. There is more to a good RP than combat. NOTE: Bad roleplay will result in sanctions against the character so please don't be afraid of character development.)

. Named after his father, but with his mother’s given name. The father passed before he was born. The mother passed giving birth. He lived with friends of his parents, although they were unable to answer questions the boy had about his family. As a result, his family past is unknown.
Once he was old enough, he joined the academy. He quickly realized it would be hard work to become a ninja, and he wasn’t really up for it. Without a goal, he got abysmal scores in his studies. There was a chance he could fail out.
This changed during his second year. His sensei made him, like the other students, write a report on the previous hokages. The assignment was done well enough for a passing mark, but during his writing of the fourth hokage, Minato Namikaze, AKA the Yellow Flash. He was a master of space time ninjutsu, able to move faster than light itself, or so say the text’s. Marcus began thinking of himself moving at that speed. He was unsure of what to do with the power, but was nevertheless inspired. He ended his second year with a new goal: to master space time ninjutsu, just like the fourth Hokage.
The rest of his academy years showed an increase in his studies, his grades improving immensely. Knowing that speed is essential for learning space time ninjutus, he spent the majority of his time training his taijutsu skill. When he finished at the academy, his skill was enough to get him to graduate. The only three jutsu’s he had mastered were the clone technique, transformation techniques, and Body Replacement Technique, in effect being his first time jutsu.
In terms of a personality, he’s pretty easy going. He’ll stand for what he believes in, although he doesn’t have many to believe in as of yet. He refuses to judge a person, treating them civilly until a while of interaction. Once he has an opinion of someone, he’s completely right as to how they will act in the future.
Upon graduation of the academy:
Taijutsu- Above average for grade, C rank skill.
Ninjutsu- average, few techniques mastered. D- skill
Chakra control- Below average, due to having spent much more time on taijutsu. E rank.
In appearance he wears a leather jacket and shorts. He relies on the shorts for mobility, and, according to the people he lives with, the jacket belonged to his father.
Carries basic weaponry for genin.

Zhall Yotoba
All his life, he’s heard stories of his father, how hard he fought in the war. His mother cried openly upon the news of his death, his life forfeit to the powers that be. His life allowed the leaf to obtain victory.
While Zhall understood, he still resented the Hokage and the Elders. As a result, he’s quite rebellious, unless someone shows they deserve his respect. Once that respect is shown, he will forever consider that person a friend.
Like his father, he has a good sense of what is right. He will protect his friends, the innocent, and the weak. In order to do so, he trains constantly. Working on increasing his taijutsu, he also worked upon his ninjutsu. He aims to be the best, in order to protect, in order to survive. He vows not to become a dog for the leader’s selfish causes.
He is only slightly aware of his hidden talents. He’s always had a sense of what was going to happen, before it did. This “second sight” has saved his life twice. He considers it luck. His mother knows different. An ability she’s had since birth, the Kekkei Genki allows her to see the future. She only acts upon it if it will directly effect her life or the life of her son.
Zhall has this same ability. With age, it will improve. With training, nothing shall escape his gaze.

Kagami is a Calm and Patient person who enjoys reading books, drawing, sleeping, eating, cooking, listening to music, and observing a variety of things. Kagami is also slow to anger. Kagami during the academy training focused on his Taijutsu and Chakra control once he learned that his family’s Kekkei Genki is the ability to counter Taijutsu and Ninjutsu effectively he focused even more on those aforementioned subjects.

Chikaze Hara was born into the Leaf Village with a very distinct birth defect.
Chikaze can not speak.
Being the most literal definition of a mute, her parents always had trouble raising her, not taking the time to understand her different acts and gestures to come up with a way to understand her better. This lead to a very upset mood hanging around them day to day, until her father couldn't take it anymore. He thought she was a curse on their family name and useless, only a burden to try to take care of, and got frustrated at her multiple times through out a day. Soon enough he left the family (almost forcibly by her mother) seeing as his family wasn't functioning the way he wanted it to. Her mother held onto her, knowing that she couldn't abandon her only child even if she couldn't communicate with her well, but she knew it would be worth the struggle, that she'd be able to find herself and her independence soon enough.
As years passed Chikaze grew bored of learning what the other kids learn and cooking every meal for her mother (seeing as her moms cooking abilities weren't all that great), and wanted to learn something new. She had always had a strength within her, and upon seeing the Ninja around town, she knew she wanted to join the academy. Much against what her mother had hoped for her, but her passion was too strong to let it go.
Chikaze attended the academy and worked hard to do well, seeing as it was the only thing she had for herself. Once graduation day came, she had done very well, a little better than others even, but always thought she could have done better. It was tough for her to communicate in class, having to write her answers down on paper and raising it in the air, and the teachers never gave up bedsides the difficulty that created in class.
Chikaze (A thousand winds) Hara (meadow) is a sweet and clumsy sort of girl, a clear innocence about her, yet can get very aggressive when challenged or threatened, which is something to look out for, her having a quite a prominent strength. She often spaces out usually thinking about something deeply or because she has nothing to say, and can get confused and bored easily. Not having many friends during her childhood, she does have one special friend, a tiger she found in the forest while exploring at the age of ten. He follows her around where ever she goes.
To communicate with others she often used facial expressions to show how she feels about something, and uses gestures with her body to show agreement, disagreement, affection, hatred, comfortableness or anything else of the like. These are important to pay attention to. She can make simple sounds, like a squeak when she gets hurt, an excited "Ah", or a quiet whimper when she cries. Her appearance is quite simple as well. Long chestnut hair, big gray blue eyes and a normal smile. She's 4'6", and can be seen wearing a deep blue schoolgirl-esque skirt (with what you would consider spandex shorts underneath) and a black or white top (white normally).

Extra: Ryumon has a lean but defined body. Though his caramel features are often a mask of calmness, with out overt emotion, he has expressive eyes that more often than not betray a deeply emotional individual. He tends to keep his hair neat and neck length wearing the tell tale shinobi headband in the traditional style around his for head, though his is black as opposed to blue and the ties themselves are about a foot in length.
His style of dress is some what conservative. He wears light leather armor with thin metal plating underneath as a chest guard and black inaba. He is rarely seen with out the metal cestus he wears as gauntlets over fingerless black gloves. For shoes he wears a black closed toe variant of the standard issue shinobi footwear with knee high metal greaves. Always sheathed horizontally on his lower back is the thick, single bladed short sword of his prized weapon Ryuu no o (Tail of the Dragon) with the long chain wrapped diagonally around his torso as a makeshift baldric, with the wickedly curved dagger at the end of the chain hooking it in place. Over it all he wears a long dark blue hooded trench coat with large sleeves and various internal pockets contain his custom engraved kunai, made of the same metal as Ryu no o and other chakra blades, along it’s pitch black lining. On the back of the coat in stark white against the midnight blue of the coat is the symbol of the Tensa clan: Two chains spiraling together, the winds of the heavens and the fires of hell combining into a singular united power.
Due to his nature as an avid reader his vocabulary his very developed for his age and often makes him come off as condescending though he never means his words as such. He tends to avoid unnecessary conflict and can diffuse most conflicts with a combination of his kind nature and sense of humor. Adversely he is sometimes given to flippant or otherwise, “smart ass” remarks though most are purely accidental.

Fears: Ryumon has always been apprehensive about the prospect of taking a life but does not have an overt fear of it. He does however greatly fear killing for the wrong reason such as anger, revenge, jealousy, or other petty reasons and thus also has a fear of his own negative emotions. He worries if anyone were to see those things in him they would think him a monster. Outside of the completion of a mission he will generally only kill if it is required for his or a comrades survival.
Nindo: Ryumon has come to understand something about weapons: They have the power to kill but through the deaths of the wicked they have the power to protect the innocent and defenseless. His Nindo is that of the protector he will be both sword and shield for his village and his clan even if it means his life…..or the life of anyone who would threaten his home.
Extra: Though appearing cold and a loner he is actually very friendly. He was raised to be respectful to his sempai, elders, sensei, and most of all ladies. He is first and foremost a gentleman but is often more closed off about his emotions around women and girls in fear of judgement. He also has a particular philosophy regarding being a shinobi, that at any time evn at rest a shinobi should be armed and prepared for battle, as such his Cestus have hidden blades in the unside of the fore arm as well as retractable(through his kekkei genkai) 8ft chains along the length of his arms.


HISTORY
Birthplace: Tensa compound just out side of konohagakure in the land of fire

Family: Midoriko Tensa (mother), Daiguren Tensa (father), Gozaemon Tensa (Paternal Grand father)
Kekkei Genkai: “Heavanly chains” - In short allows the user control of any metal they have imbued with their chakra from swords to kunai to hammer, chains, and etc.. Additionally the user can control both the fire and wind elements simultaneously for ninjutsu and some taijutsu.

Life's Story:
Rymon was born to Midoriko and Daiguren Tensa in the Tensa Compound just outside of Sunagakure. His mother while loving and nuturing was also rather strict with his upbringing and wanting Ryumon to take on a job as a metal artisan like her, as they were respected among the Tensa for their craftsmanship and made good money from commissioned pieces. His father Daiguren was a Tensa Master Blacksmith and Weapon master. While not the most famous he was good at his job took pride in his work he encouraged Ryumon to do his best at whatever he did regardless of the reason be it for work or play. While Ryumon took a healthy interest in engraving as a hobby he found himself fascinated by the world of the Shinobi after a visit with his grandfather, a seasoned Sunagakure shinobi, at the age of 5 during which he witnessed him slay a jealous and enraged enemy to protect him. His grandfather, Gozaemon, told him later

“He may strike you 1000 times, but the blade of a sword swung in anger, hate, or malice will always be dulled by the lack of a will strong enough to control such emotions. Know that the way of the shinobi should be one of love for ones family and home as well as one of mercy for those wise enough to seek it in ernest. Know too that the way of the shinobi is terribly harsh.”

Soon after this fateful event he was, to his mother’s chagrin and his elation, enrolled in the ninja academy. He threw himself into his studies and while not at the top of his class he preformed well in most subjects and about average in genjutsu. Upon graduating his father made, and continues to make, all of Ryumon’s weaponry and though disapproving his mother engraves them all with her son’s favorite mythical beast….the dragon.

At 15 He Became a chunin and continued training. He gained a reputation for creative tactics and creating effective ninjutsu. After a mission in which he was to protect the previous hokage his entire team save for himself and the hokage were killed. For his ability and determination he was promoted to the position of Jounin and inducted into Anbu. After several successful retrieval missions he gained a reputation for success and was made a the head of the ANBU divsion as well as the hokage's personal aide and bodyguard.

When the previous hokage decided to retire and step down he nominated Ryumon. Ryumon was well recived as the new leader of Konoha and has done his best to protect his home.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
He sat atop a cliff over looking the compound that was his home and thought…simply thought. He remembered the words of his grand father often. They came to him often, like a whisper on the wind……
…The way of a shinobi should be one of love for ones family and home, as well as one of mercy …
Doubt raced through him…..Will I know when to take a life? ...Will it be for the right reason? …Is there a right reason?! …
And this too came to him like a whisper on the desert winds …
...Know also that the way of the shinobi is terribly harsh…
He now understood. Shinobi existed to make those tough decisions so fewer people would have to. Shinobi were meant to kill for the right reasons so their loved ones didn’t die for the wrong ones. A shinobi was both a sword against the enemy and a shield for his people. He would be that shield no matter who had to fall on his sword.

Life's Story:

Kale is older than most genins because until recently he only wanted to be able to be called a ninja. He wanted the name and respect but not tall of the work that came with it. So he entered the academy but a failed a few time because he never had the drive. As such he was always a disappointment to his family. He was content to just sit around and do nothing and just float by on life. The catalyst moment in his life might seem small to some people but its was really big to him. his younger brother graduating the academy and him failing again. It wasnt a big deal to him until he looked over and saw his parents congratulating him. Kale quickly become jealous and was determined to show his parents that he wasn't a failure. From then on Kale did a complete 180 and applied himself 300%to training. He was pretty meh on taijustu actually worse than most he did alright on ninjustu but where he excelled was in his Shadow Manipulation and genjustu. When he finally graduated from the academy he saw how proud his parents were and he vowed he wouldn't stop training until he made it to the top.
