Wizarding Roleplay
Realizing I have class with Zan and Marcus, I follow them hoping they know the way to class.

Re: Wizarding Roleplay
When we arrived, we saw the same woman who handed out our schedules cleaning up several parts of the room. She turned to look at us as we came in, the first ones to arrive.
"Oh, hello. welcome to Charms. Class wont begin for another...twenty minutes, but you can find seats if you would like."
Some chalk floated up behind her, and started writing on the wall on its own: "Professor Lamrian, Head of Ravenclaw house. Welcome to Charms!"

I find my way to Charms by hearing the professor introduce herself to Marcus and Zan. I walk in seeing the floating chalk writing on the board. I introduce myself to the professor. I turn around and see Marcus and Zan. I wave and walk over to sit near them.

Re: Wizarding Roleplay
The time drags on as students arrive for class. No spell work is learned today, but we must all be told about magical practice:
"Each and everyone of you can cast magical spells. This is all well and good, but the problem is you are all untrained. Magic is a powerful force. It can have vastly dangerous consequences if not handled properly. You are all here to learn, and so I am here to teach. Charms are the basis of all magic. We learn how to make things move, how to make things grow, shrink, change their appearance, the sounds things make, we can even produce the illusion of life.
What makes Charms different from Transfiguration is we don't create actual life. Everything we change is still what it is. Transfiguration will change things completely, like turning a cat into owl. But, that's something Feverant should be telling you, not myself. Now then, open your textbooks to page 23...

Re: Wizarding Roleplay
As we go through the basic rules of Charms I noticed that there were more rules to Magic than I had ever thought possible, but each rule appeared to have a valid reason as Professor Lamrian expounded those reasons throughly with convincing evidence.

Class ended, Leaving me feeling drained. I cared not about the theory, but the practice is what I was looking forward to. I lead us back down to the great hall to get some food.

I follow enthused about my new knowledge but hungry for food at the same time.
