Leo had just finished up with Harmony's(pidgey) Check up. It was the last follow up after he'd brought her in nearly 6 months ago. He'd decided, after a very loud and one sided discussion with his teacher, to become a trainer. A month later he'd managed to obtain his license and official received a pokeball for Harmony. He'd been excited to start his journey and headed to Viridian city and now that Harmony was medically cleared for battles he was ready to really begin his life as a trainer.

I lead the way into the pokemon centre, seeing most of the people were off to the buffet area. There was only the doctor, Tenera, myself, and some other kid talking to the doctor.

Leo raised a quizzical eye brow which was promptly mimiced by the pidgey sitting on his shoulder.
"Do I know you?" he asked them dryly he 10 year old face beaming with all the vigor of an aggravated old man...He was never that sociable with his own mother so this was a step up from his usual demeanor.

Leo rolled his as he continued walking away.

He stopped for a moment and turned to them looking coldly over his shoulder...
"By the way junior...." he directed at the squirtle trainer
"It's poor manners to greet someone you've never met in a random town without--at least-- introducing your self first..." he said as dryly and emotionlessly as before.

With that he continued walking his pidgey turning as sticking it's tounge out at the squirtle.

"Harmony!" he said kurtly making the pidgey jump slightly on his shoulder...
"That isn't lady like behavior..." he said admonishingly.

The Pidgey, now suitably admonished waved a dismisive wing at the squirtle as if to say 'yeah yeah i'm sorry'

It was a 'hello.' Forgive me because I didn't lay down my entire social line as a form of greeting. If I had known you were such an arrogant punk I wouldn't have bothered.

Leo continued towards the door and with out missing a single step.

"I wish you hadn't" he said coldly
"Frankly I wish your parents hadn't bothered either.....less noise pollution" he added as he stopped.

Upon hearing Tenera speak..... he turned and regaarded him for a moment...

"...Nice to meet you Tenera I'm Leo...." he said with a somewhat forced but civil smile....he wasn't used to dealing with people but since Tenera made the effort to use more than 3 of his brain cells he decided to remain polite....well as polite as an anti-social loner could manage.

"As for the battle.... I accept I'll be out side junior" he said as he said walking out

as you wish Marcus. -as we step outside and Marcus and Leo step into the battle zone i call in a clear voice- here we stand, to resolve an issue, that issue being held between these two individuals....-closes my eyes and holds my arms out to the side- may the battle be fair and the issue resolved herein.-drops arms and opens eyes- this will be a one-on-one Pokemon battle, Marcus the challenger, versus Leo. -looks to Marcus- Marcus, are you ready?

"That I have feelings....." he said with cold finality...

If they couldn't before they could now....this was a boy who would stare the grim reaper in the face and announce his death on his own terms...

"Let's begin..." he said with a vicious chill to his words
